CHICKEN OPOR / OPOR AYAM



Ingredients :
1 tender / young chicken
6 onions
3 cloves garlic
10 candlenuts
1/4 tsp coriander
1/4 tsp cumin
1 lemon grass stalk, bruised
4 salam leaves
4 jeruk purut leaves
3 cm lengkuas,bruised
2 lt santan (coconut cream)
salt and pepper to taste
cooking oil as needed

Method
1. Clean the chicken and cut into 8 part
2. Grind onions,garlic,candlenuts,coriander,
and cumin finely
3. Fry ground spices with the chicken, after
they smell fragnant,add lemon grass,salam leaves
,jeruk purut leaves,lengkuas,and pour santan.
let them boil,then add salt and pepper to taste.
4. Cook until the chicken is tender and the sauce
thickens
